Description

This document applies to beverage containers consisting of two cylindrical deep-drawn elements (shells) joined by welding. It applies to containers rated for an allowable operating pressure of up to 0,3 MPa and with a nominal volume of up to 50 litres. The containers are used as returnable packaging. Beverage containers (casks and kegs) in accordance with this document are preferably used for beer. This document specifies the quality requirements with respect to material, constancy of volume and dimensional stability and bursting safety.
