Additional tests may be required by application documents.<\/p>\n<p>This document does not cover testing of residual stresses, corrosion resistance and impact properties.<\/p>\n<p>This document applies to the following brazing processes in accordance with <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO&nbsp;857-2<\/span><\/span> and <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO&nbsp;4063<\/span><\/span> with local and global heating:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>911 Infrared brazing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>912 Flame brazing, torch brazing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>913 Laser beam brazing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>914 Electron beam brazing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>916 Induction brazing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>918 Resistance brazing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>919 Diffusion brazing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>921 Furnace brazing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>922 Vacuum brazing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>923 Dip-bath brazing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>924 Salt-bath brazing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>925 Flux bath brazing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>926 Immersion brazing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>972 Arc weld brazing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE 1\n <\/div>\n<p><span class=\"xref\">Annex A<\/span> gives guidance on general quality requirements for brazing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE 2\n <\/div>\n<p>This document does not apply to brazing for aerospace applications covered by <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO 11745<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The principal of this document can be applied to other brazing processes and other materials.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>BS ISO 17779.
