{"id":324635,"date":"2024-10-19T22:30:46","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T22:30:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bsi-19-30386409-dc\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T21:07:14","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T21:07:14","slug":"bsi-19-30386409-dc","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bsi-19-30386409-dc\/","title":{"rendered":"BSI 19\/30386409 DC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO 10667-2<\/span><\/span> establishes requirements and guidance for one or more service provider(s) in working with a client to carry out the assessment of an individual, group or organization for work-related purposes and to deliver quality assessment services.<\/p>\n<p>This document addresses the requirements for the service provider with respect to, among other areas:<\/p>\n<ol type=\"a\">\n<li>\n<p>the choice, integration, implementation and evaluation of assessment procedures and methods in making recommendations to a client who has an assessment need, carrying out and delivering such assessments, and assisting the client in communicating with assessment participants and others;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>the interpretation of assessment results and subsequent reports;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>the collection, processing, and storage of personal data of assessment participants and of assessment data;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>ensuring the required competence and professionalism of any person working under its control with a role in the assessment process;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>organizational decisions related to the delivery of assessment services.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO&nbsp;10667-2<\/span><\/span> also specifies assessment methods and procedures that can be carried out for one or more of the following work-related purposes made by or affecting individuals, groups or organizations, including, but not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>employment-related decisions, e.g., recruitment, selection, development, appraisal, promotion, outplacement, succession planning and reassignment;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>career-related decisions (e.g., recruiting, coaching, guidance, vocational rehabilitation and outplacement counselling);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>group decisions (e.g., training initiatives, team building); and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>organizational decisions (e.g., restructuring, morale and culture initiatives, mergers and acquisitions).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>No detailed technical or professional specifications are included within <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO&nbsp;10667-2<\/span><\/span>; however, an explanation of some of the more common professional terms used in assessment (e.g., validity, reliability, fairness, standardization) are included in <span class=\"xref\">Annex&nbsp;B<\/span>.
