The tube shall be made from one of the following coppers:<\/p>\n<p class=\"desc\" id=\"N00700\"><span class=\"smallcap\">Note<\/span> 1Fittings used for soldered or brazed connections in air conditioning and refrigeration systems are described in ASME Standard B 16.22.<\/p>\n<p class=\"desc\" id=\"N00701\"><span class=\"smallcap\">Note<\/span> 2The assembly of copper tubular systems by soldering is described in Practice B828 .<\/p>\n<p class=\"desc\" id=\"N00702\"><span class=\"smallcap\">Note<\/span> 3Solders for joining copper tubular systems by descirbed in Specification B32 . The requirements for acceptable fluxes for these systems are described in Specification B813 .<\/p>\n<p id=\"s00003\">1.2 Copper UNS No. C12200 shall be furnished, unless otherwise specified. The copper tube shall be supplied in annealed coils or drawn temper straight lengths.<\/p>\n<p id=\"s00004\">1.3 <span class=\"italic\"><span class=\"italic\">Units<\/span><\/span> Values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units which are provided for information only and are not considered standard.<\/p>\n<p id=\"s00005\">1.4 <span class=\"italic\">This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
