Die Nutzung von spektral breitbandigem Licht erm\u00f6glicht absolute Abstandsbestimmungen. Anwendungen der OCT gibt es in der biomedizinischen Diagnostik und in industriellen Anwendungsbereichen der Material- und Defektpr\u00fcfung. Die Richtlinie wendet sich an Anbieter, Systemintegratoren und Anwender von OCT-Systemen mit beiden Verfahrensvarianten Zeitdom\u00e4ne und Fourierdom\u00e4ne.
