The model is applicable<br \/>\nfrom speeds near to zero to at least 200 ft\/s. The overall system<br \/>\nof instrumentation and aircraft configuration may be expected to be<br \/>\ncapable of providing decelerating forces with a precision of \u00b1 250<br \/>\nlbf at the 95% confidence level.<\/p>\n<p>In conjunction with effects of mechanical properties of snow,<br \/>\nthe model is used to calculate total decelerating forces arising<br \/>\nwhen <i>rolling<\/i> on snow-covered runways.
