This document defines the end-to-end PSVT<br \/>\nservice and architecture. The Stage 1 requirements for the PSVT<br \/>\nService are specified in [42]. The end-to-end system design is<br \/>\ndescribed in [43].<\/p>\n<p>PSVT provides support of one-to-one conversational video<br \/>\nservices between a PSVT Terminal and another PSVT Terminal or a<br \/>\nvideo terminal on the Internet. The procedures specified in this<br \/>\ndocument are based upon procedures in<br \/>\n[1][2][3][4][6][7][8][9][10][12][13][17][18][19]. If there is a<br \/>\nconflict between the procedures in this document and those in the<br \/>\nabove referenced standards, the procedures in the referenced<br \/>\nstandards take precedence.<\/p>\n<p>In this document, several key words are used to signify the<br \/>\nrequirements.
